3. Negotiations ahead of Parliament's first reading (consent) (Rule 69c)

The President announced that no request had been received on behalf of a number of Members or a political group or groups reaching at least the medium threshold concerning the decisions to enter into interinstitutional negotiations announced in the Minutes of Monday 12 March 2018 (minutes of 12.3.2018, item 7).

The IMCO, CULT and ECON Committees had therefore been able to start the negotiations following the expiry of the deadline laid down in Rule 69c(2).
