The final draft agenda for the July 2018 (PE 624.394/PDOJ) sittings had been distributed and the following changes had been proposed (Rule 149a):

Monday

No changes.

Thursday

Debate on cases of breaches of human rights, democracy and the rule of law (Rule 135):

After consulting the political groups, The President proposed the following change:

The debate on 'Moldova' would be renamed 'The political crisis in Moldova, following the invalidation of the local elections in Chisinau'.

Parliament approved the proposal.

Wednesday

The President announced that he had received a motion for a resolution from the EFDD Group objecting to the Delegated Decision of the Commission granting an EU guarantee to the European Investment Bank against losses under financing operations supporting investment projects outside the Union, in respect of Iran (minutes of 13.6.2018, item 24).

Pursuant to Rule 105(3), this item would be put to the vote during voting time on Wednesday, 4 July 2018.

Tuesday

Request by the S&D Group to change the title of the Council and Commission statements from 'Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo' (item 90 on the final draft agenda) to 'The situation in the DRC, in particular the Ebola outbreak'.

The following spoke: Maria Arena, on behalf of the S&D Group, to move the request, and Charles Goerens, on behalf of the ALDE Group, against the request.

Parliament rejected the request by electronic vote (36 in favour, 151 against, 8 abstentions).

Request by the ENF Group to add a statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on 'The situation in Turkey' as the third item on the afternoon's agenda.

The following spoke: Gilles Lebreton, on behalf of the ENF Group, to move the request.

Parliament rejected the request.

Request by the Verts/ALE Group to add a statement by the Vice-President of the Commission/High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on 'Autonomous weapons systems' as the third item on the afternoon's agenda.

The following spoke: Philippe Lamberts, on behalf of the Verts/ALE Group, to move the request.

Parliament rejected the request by roll-call vote (126 in favour, 158 against, 5 abstentions).

Wednesday

Request from the GUE/NGL, ECR and PPE Groups to vote on the three reports in the Mobility package in the following order: the report by Merja Kyllönen (A8-0206/2018) (item 100 on the draft agenda), the report by Wim van de Camp (A8-0205/2018) (item 99 on the draft agenda) and the report by Ismail Ertug (A8-0204/2018) (item 98 on the draft agenda).

The following spoke: Merja Kyllönen, on behalf of the GUE/NGL Group, to move the request.

Parliament agreed to the request by electronic vote (187 in favour, 92 against, 9 abstentions).

The order of business was thus established.

The President referred to Bruno Gollnisch's speech (minutes of 2.7.2018, item 4) and pointed out that the Court of Justice of the European Union had recently confirmed the regularity of the procedure followed.
