11. Negotiations ahead of Parliament's first reading (Rule 69c) (consent)

The President announced that he had received a request from the GUE/NGL and Verts/ALE Groups for a vote to be held in respect of the committee's decision to enter into interinstitutional negotiations based on the report on the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on amending Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 as regards minimum loss coverage for non-performing exposures (COM(2018)0134 - C8-0117/2018 – 2018/0060(COD)). Rapporteurs: Roberto Gualtieri and Esther de Lange (A8-0440/2018)), as announced in the minutes of Monday, 10 December 2018 (minutes of 10.12.2018, item 7).

The vote would take place the next day, pursuant to Rule 69(c)(2).

The President announced that he had not received a request from a number of Members or from one or more political groups reaching at least the medium threshold in respect of the other decisions to enter into interinstitutional negotiations announced in the minutes of Monday 10 December 2018 (minutes of 10.12.2018, item 7).

The REGI, ECON, ITRE, LIBE, JURI, IMCO and AFCO Committees had thus been able to enter into negotiations following expiry of the deadline set under Rule 69c(2).
