11. Negotiations ahead of Parliament's first reading (Rule 69c) (follow-up)

The President stated that requests for votes, announced in the minutes of Monday 14 January 2019 (minutes of 14.1.2019, item 9) had been received from:

—   the ECR Group and other Members concerning the decision of the JURI Committee to open interinstitutional negotiations on the basis of the report on the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council amending Directive (EU) 2017/1132 as regards cross-border conversions, mergers and divisions (COM(2018)0241 – C8-0167/2018 – 2018/0114(COD)). Rapporteur: Evelyn Regner (A8-0002/2019);

—   the Verts/ALE Group and other Members on the decision of the PECH Committee to open interinstitutional negotiations on the basis of the report on the basis of the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council establishing a multiannual plan for fisheries exploiting demersal stocks in the western Mediterranean (COM(2018)0115 - C8-0104/2018 - 2018/0050(COD)). Rapporteur: Clara Eugenia Aguilera García (A8-0005/2019).

The votes would be held on Thursday 17 January 2019.

No requests for votes pursuant to Rule 69c had been received concerning the other requests for interinstitutional negotiations announced in the minutes of Monday 14 January 2019 (minutes of 14.1.2019, item 9).

The ECON, LIBE and TRAN Committees had thus been able to enter into negotiations following expiry of the deadline set under Rule 69c(2).
