European Council and Commission statements: Conclusions of the European Council meeting of 10 April 2019 on the withdrawal of the UK from the European Union (2019/2694(RSP))
Donald Tusk (President of the European Council) and Jean-Claude Juncker (President of the Commission) made the statements and spoke of the fire at Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris.
The President stressed the important role Parliament had played throughout the negotiations on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
