18. Interpretation of Rules of Procedure (action taken)
The interpretations of Rule 32, paragraph 5, first subparagraph, second indent, and Rule 149a, paragraph 2, provided by the AFCO Committee, had been announced in plenary the previous day (minutes of 15.4.2019, item 7).
The EFDD had contested the interpretation of Rule 32, paragraph 5, first subparagraph, second indent, within the 24-hour period established in Rule 226(4).
The interpretation would therefore be put to the vote at voting time on Wednesday 17 April 2019.
The interpretation of Rule 149a, paragraph 2 had not been contested before the end of the 24-hour period. That interpretation was therefore deemed to be adopted.
19. Announcement by the President
The President announced that the joint position of the DEVE Committee and the BUDG Committee on the extension of the Union Trust Fund for the Central African Republic, announced in plenary the previous day (minutes of 15.4.2019, item 8), had not been contested within the 24-hour period.
