7. Negotiations ahead of Council's first reading (Rule 72)

The President announced that the ECON and ENVI Committees had decided to enter into interinstitutional negotiations, in accordance with Rule 72, on the basis of the following:

—   European Parliament legislative resolution of 28 March 2019 on the proposal for a regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on the establishment of a framework to facilitate sustainable investment (COM(2018)0353 – C8-0207/2018 – 2018/0178(COD)) – position at 1st reading P8_TA-PROV(2019)0325
