2. Negotiations ahead of Parliament’s first reading (Rule 71) (action taken)

The President announced that no request had been received on behalf of a number of Members or a political group or groups reaching at least the medium threshold concerning the decisions to enter into interinstitutional negotiations as announced in the Minutes of Monday 19 October 2020 (minutes of 19.10.2020, item 8).

The TRAN and BUDG/ECON Committees had therefore been able to initiate the negotiations on expiry of the deadline laid down in Rule 71(2).
