Stefano Maullu, a former Member, had sent the President a request for his privileges and immunities to be defended in the context of criminal proceedings pending before the public prosecutor’s office in Venice, Italy.

Clara Ponsatí Obiols had sent the President a request for her privileges and immunities to be defended in the context of criminal proceedings pending in Spain.

Pursuant to Rule 9(1), the requests had been referred to the committee responsible, in this case the JURI Committee.
