Rule 102  : Procedures for scrutiny of envisaged voluntary agreements

1.    Where the Commission informs Parliament of its intention to explore the use of voluntary agreements as an alternative to legislation, the committee responsible may draw up a report on the substantive issue in question pursuant to Rule 52.

2.    Where the Commission announces that it intends to enter into a voluntary agreement, the committee responsible may table a motion for a resolution recommending that Parliament approve or reject the proposal, and under what conditions.
