Euroopa Parlamendi konkurss meedia ja sündmuste valdkonda kuuluvate tegevuste kaasfinantseerimiseks

Euroopa Parlament  teatab konkursi väljakuulutamisest partnerlusettepanekute ja toetuste kaasfinantseerimiseks eesmärgiga suurendada teadlikkust parlamendi tegevusest.

The Directorate General for Communication (DG COMM) of the European Parliament has announced the publication of new calls for proposals for partnership and for grants to co-finance communication activities aimed at promoting and multiplying a better understanding of the identity, role and political nature of the European Parliament in two areas:

1) Media (TV, radio and/or online media)

2) Events

MEDIA (TV, radio and online media)

To submit a project proposal, applicants must have previously applied for partnership before 31 May 2016. Only selected partners will be eligible for the award of a grant on the basis of their project proposal.

The projects, which can receive up to 60% co-funding, must be submitted following the requirements of the call for proposals for grants in the media category, which is expected to be published on 15 June 2016 with submission deadline on 31 August 2016

Applicants may submit a project proposal in the following fields of application: TV, radio and/or online media. There is also the possibility of submitting multimedia projects.

The maximum rate of co-financing of projects is 60% of the total eligible costs of the action. The duration of projects will be a maximum of seven months, between November 2016 and June 2017.

The partnership and grant application forms and the proposed project must be submitted in English. Most of the required supporting documents may be submitted in any EU official language (see details in the calls for proposals).



DG COMM has announced the publication of a new call for proposals for grants in the in the field of events. The call is expected to be published on 2 May with application deadline on 31 May.

“Events” means all types of events, online or offline (preferably with a web component), of a non-partisan nature, such as seminars, conferences, debates, discussion fora, exhibitions, competitions, cultural or sporting activities, aimed at providing a communication platform to citizens.

It should be noted that no partnership is required in order to apply for a grant in the category of events.

Co-financing of projects by the EP will be limited to a maximum of 60% of the project's total budget.
