The President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek condemns the bomb attack on government headquarters in Norway. 

President Buzek said:

On behalf of the European Parliament, I totally condemn the attack on government headquarters. I offer our deep and profound sympathy and condolences to the families and loved ones of those killed and injured by this shocking act of violence. Norway has been providing good services for peace in the most volatile spots areas around the globe. The last thing Norway deserves is a terrorist attack on its soil. Terrorist attacks are never justified anywhere.

Terrorism will never succeed to change our values. Europe is united in its fight against terrorism of all kinds.

I want to express my solidarity with the Norwegian people and authorities in reacting promptly and managing swiftly such a regrettable and despicable acts."
