Background

The next edition of the European Youth Event (EYE) was due to take place on 29-30 May 2020 in the European Parliament in Strasbourg. This is a unique opportunity for thousands of young Europeans between the ages of 16 and 30 to make their voices heard. During the event, they exchange ideas and perspectives on youth-related issues and develop innovative solutions to crucial questions for the future. Young people get the chance to meet with European decision-makers and speakers with a wide range of professional experience.  At the same time the EYE provides an opportunity to experience the rich cultural diversity within the EU through the staging of various artistic performances and spectacles.
