In its work programme for 2026, the European Commission announced a '2030 Roadmap on the future of digital education and skills' to be proposed in the third quarter of 2026.
This roadmap will support key initiatives, including the Action Plan on Basic Skills and the STEM Education Strategic Plan, with the goal of establishing a comprehensive and inclusive EU digital education ecosystem.
