Sporazum između Europske zajednice i Kraljevine Danske o kriterijima i mehanizmima za utvrđivanje države odgovorne za razmatranje zahtjeva za azil podnesenog u Danskoj ili bilo kojoj drugoj državi članici Europske unije i sustava „Eurodac” za uspoređivanje otisaka prstiju za učinkovitu primjenu Dublinske konvencije od 2006. obuhvaća i primjenu dijelova Eurodaca „povezanih s Dublinskom konvencijom”. Međutim, pristup tijela kaznenog progona, koji je bio novi element preinake Uredbe o Eurodacu u usporedbi s izvornim sustavom Eurodaca (Uredba Vijeća (EZ) br. 2725/2000), dosad nije bio uređen navedenim Sporazumom.
Proširenjem odredbi o kaznenom progonu iz Uredbe (EU) br. 603/2013 na Dansku omogućilo bi se tijelima kaznenog progona Danske da zatraže usporedbu podataka o otiscima prstiju na temelju podataka koje su druge države sudionice unijele i pohranile u bazu podataka Eurodaca kad žele utvrditi identitet ili dobiti dodatne informacije o osobi koju se sumnjiči za teško kazneno djelo ili terorizam ili o žrtvi. S druge strane, tijelima kaznenog progona svih ostalih država sudionica, bilo drugih država članica EU-a bilo pridruženih zemalja, omogućilo bi se da zatraže usporedbu podataka o otiscima prstiju na temelju podataka koje je Danska unijela i pohranila u bazu podataka Eurodac u iste svrhe.
Podržavam stav izvjestitelja i potvrdu ovog Sporazuma.

Program Obzor Europa od velike je važnosti za Odbor za razvoj zbog doprinosa koji može pružiti u provedbi ciljeva održivog razvoja. Već je više puta prepoznata važnost uloge istraživanja i inovacija u pogledu ispunjavanja društvenih i gospodarskih izazova, te posebno u novom Europskom konsenzusu o razvoju donesenom u lipnju 2017.
Važno je osigurati da Obzor Europa bude otvoren dionicima u zemljama u razvoju u smislu sudjelovanja u projektima i aktivnostima te pristupa rezultatima projekata. Sudjelovanje zemalja u razvoju u sadašnjem programu Obzor 2020. smanjilo se u odnosu na prethodni okvirni program te u program Obzor Europa treba dodati posebne odredbe kako bi se ojačala njegova dimenzija međunarodne suradnje.
Osim toga, ključno je osigurati da se prioriteti i obveze EU-a u području vanjske i razvojne politike uzimaju u obzir, posebno kada je riječ o klimatskim promjenama, biološkoj raznolikosti te učinkovitosti resursa i energije.
Podržavam ovaj prijedlog.
