Reports - as rapporteur 
A rapporteur is appointed in the responsible parliamentary committee to draft a report on proposals of a legislative or budgetary nature, or other issues. In drafting their report, rapporteurs may consult with relevant experts and stakeholders. They are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs. In caso di hard Brexit, la proposta in oggetto, intende chiarire la situazione dei cittadini britannici per quanto concerne la politica dei visti. Attualmente, esentare i cittadini britannici dall'obbligo del visto, è l'unica decisione ragionevole da prendere ed ho per questo, votato a favore.

Strengthening the security of identity cards and of residence documents issued to Union citizens (A8-0436/2018 - Gérard Deprez) IT  
 

Questa proposta di regolamento mira a rafforzare le attuali disposizioni in materia di sicurezza in tre ambiti: le carte d'identità dei cittadini dell'UE; gli attestati di registrazione rilasciati ai cittadini dell'Unione che risiedono per più di tre mesi in uno Stato membro ospitante; e infine le carte di soggiorno rilasciate ai familiari dei cittadini dell'Unione che non possiedono la cittadinanza di uno Stato membro. Il fine ultimo di questo rafforzamento è la lotta alla frode di identità.
Le carte d'identità dovranno essere prodotte utilizzando un modello uniforme tipo carta di credito, comprendere una zona funzionale a lettura ottica ed essere conformi alle norme minime di sicurezza stabilite dall'ICAO. Dovranno inoltre includere una foto e due impronte del titolare, conservate in formato digitale, su un microchip senza contatto. A tal proposito, le autorità nazionali dovranno garantire la sicurezza del microchip stesso e dei dati in esso contenuti, in modo che non possano essere oggetto di violazione o di accesso non autorizzato.
Si specificano inoltre le informazioni minime che devono figurare nei titoli di soggiorno rilasciati ai cittadini dell'UE, oltre ad armonizzare il modello e altre specifiche delle carte di soggiorno rilasciate a cittadini di paesi terzi che sono familiari di cittadini dell'Unione. Ho votato a favore.

Road infrastructure safety management (A8-0008/2019 - Daniela Aiuto) IT  
 

Ho votato a favore della proposta in oggetto, relativa alla gestione della sicurezza delle infrastrutture stradali e finalizzata a colmare le carenze della direttiva 2008/96/CE.
Considerando che l'avvicinarsi all'azzeramento degli incidenti mortali entro il 2050 (obiettivo "zero vittime") è un obiettivo strategico dell'Unione europea, il testo intende aumentare la sicurezza in superficie delle infrastrutture stradali.
Introduce dunque le seguenti modifiche: estendere l'ambito di applicazione oltre la rete transeuropea dei trasporti (TEN-T), per includere autostrade e strade principali; fissare requisiti di prestazione generali per la segnaletica orizzontale e verticale così da facilitare l'introduzione di sistemi di mobilità cooperativa, connessa e automatizzata; tutelare le esigenze degli utenti della strada vulnerabili; e infine instaurare uno scambio di buone prassi tra gli Stati membri.
