Od 1. siječnja 2021., zakon EU-a više se neće primjenjivati na dio tunela ispod Engleskog kanala koji je pod jurisdikcijom Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva. Podržala sam odluku o primjenama pravila o sigurnosti željeznica i interoperabilnosti željezničkog sustava jer je njezin cilj zadržati jedinstveno sigurnosno tijelo za cijeli tunel primjenjujući pravila EU-a.
