Reports - as rapporteur 
A rapporteur is appointed in the responsible parliamentary committee to draft a report on proposals of a legislative or budgetary nature, or other issues. In drafting their report, rapporteurs may consult with relevant experts and stakeholders. They are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs. Eurojust-Denmark Agreement on judicial cooperation in criminal matters (A8-0192/2019 - Claude Moraes) PT  
 

Tendo em conta o estatuto especial da Dinamarca em matéria de justiça penal na sequência do Tratado de Lisboa, o país não faz parte do novo regulamento nem está vinculada ao mesmo. No entanto, manifestou a sua intenção de continuar a participar nas atividades da Eurojust, mas para isso é necessária a celebração de um acordo de cooperação entre a Dinamarca e a Eurojust. Apesar de, em princípio, um sistema comum de cooperação em matéria de justiça penal para todos os Estados-Membros dever ser a regra e ser preferível, é importante a existência de um acordo com a Dinamarca para garantir, nomeadamente, a continuação da participação da Dinamarca na estrutura da Eurojust, a conservação de um espaço comum de JAI na UE, e a aplicação das prerrogativas da Autoridade Europeia para a Proteção de Dados (AEPD) e do Tribunal de Justiça. Votei favoravelmente à celebração do acordo.

CO2 emission performance standards for new heavy-duty vehicles (A8-0354/2018 - Bas Eickhout) PT  
 

A União e os seus Estados-Membros comprometeram-se com o Acordo de Paris, que visa manter o aumento global da temperatura muito abaixo dos 2 °C em relação aos níveis pré-industriais e prosseguir os esforços para limitar o aumento da temperatura a 1,5 °C em relação aos níveis pré-industriais. O setor dos transportes, cujas emissões estão a aumentar e foram responsáveis por 25% das emissões totais de gases com efeito de estufa na UE em 2016, tem de realizar uma parte substancial dos esforços da União para combater as alterações climáticas. Considero essencial diminuir as emissões de CO2 do setor dos transportes para cumprir o objetivo da União para 2030 de reduzir as suas emissões de gases com efeito de estufa em, pelo menos, 30% relativamente aos níveis de 2005. A definição de um nível de ambição adequado para as emissões de CO2 dos veículos pesados é fundamental para dar aos fabricantes um sinal claro de que devem investir atempadamente em tecnologias de redução das emissões, sem, no entanto, pôr em causa a sustentabilidade a curto prazo do sector. Votei favoravelmente.

Promotion of clean and energy-efficient road transport vehicles (A8-0321/2018 - Andrzej Grzyb) PT  
 

A proposta tem como objetivo promover os transportes não poluentes, incentivar tecnologias novas e não poluentes e, a longo prazo, reduzir as emissões de poluentes atmosféricos e de CO2. A presente diretiva estabelece que os Estados-Membros devem assegurar que as autoridades adjudicantes e as entidades adjudicantes tenham em conta os impactos energético e ambiental durante o tempo de vida – incluindo o consumo de energia e as emissões de CO2 e de determinados poluentes – na contratação pública de determinados veículos de transporte rodoviário, tendo como objetivos promover e estimular o mercado de veículos não poluentes e energeticamente eficientes e melhorar a contribuição do setor dos transportes para as políticas da União nos domínios do ambiente, do clima e da energia. As alterações devem contribuir igualmente para a implantação de infraestruturas para combustíveis alternativos, bem como para a conformidade dos veículos com as exigências das normas mais recentes sobre emissões de poluentes atmosféricos e de gases com efeito de estufa. Votei favoravelmente.
