On EP NEWSHUB

Luckily, we did our job and reached a good agreement, beyond what many expected. But here we are, once more, waiting for the Council to do its job. 6/6 @POLITICOEurope @liliebayer https://t.co/aJPOLOy9bd

In the past 2 months, in the heat of the negotiations, how many times did we hear and read that Parliament was slow, was irresponsible, was jeopardizing the timely start of the new budget and recovery! But the facts are there. 5/6 @jvanovertveldt @mmargmarques @RasmusAndresen

Like on 16 September this year, when we fast-tracked our opinion to the Own Resources decision to clear the way for ratification by national parliaments and swift launch of recovery instrument (more than 2 months later, Council has not yet adopted the decision). 4/6 @ValerieHayer
