Reports - as rapporteur

A rapporteur is appointed in the responsible parliamentary committee to draft a report on proposals of a legislative or budgetary nature, or other issues. In drafting their report, rapporteurs may consult with relevant experts and stakeholders. They are also responsible for the drafting of compromise amendments and negotiations with shadow rapporteurs. Reports adopted at committee level are then examined and voted on in plenary. Rule 55

The rights of intersex people (B8-0101/2019) SL

Parlament je na tokratnem zasedanju sploh prvič posebej razpravljal in sprejel resolucijo o pravicah interseksualnih oseb.
Kot ena izmed pobudnic sem resolucijo seveda podprla.
Interseksualne osebe se namreč rodijo s telesnimi in spolnimi značilnostmi, ki ne ustrezajo medicinskim ali družbenim normam za žensko ali moško telo, in ker se lahko to odstopanje izrazijo v različnih primarnih ali sekundarnih značilnostih.
Resolucija zato poziva Komisijo in države članice k obravnavi kršitve človekovih pravic in odpravi diskriminacije interseksualnih oseb.
Veseli me, da je parlament ostro obsodil zdravljenje in kirurške posege za normalizacijo spola brez privolitve. Na žalost pa bo potrebno še veliko storiti za odpravo diskriminacije ter za pomoč interseksualnim osebam na vseh področjih.
Na žalost se interseksualna odstopanja v mednarodni klasifikaciji bolezni Svetovne zdravstvene organizacije še vedno uvrščajo med bolezni, čeprav ni dokazov o dolgoročnem uspehu zdravljenja.

The future of the LGBTI List of Actions (2019-2024) (B8-0127/2019) SL

Glasovala sem za resolucijo, saj so LGBTI osebe v Evropski uniji še vedno diskriminirane in se nad njimi pogosto izvaja nasilje, vse države članice EU pa ne zagotavljajo ustreznega pravnega varstva osebam LGBTI pred diskriminacijo.
Kljub pozivom parlamenta Komisiji leta 2014 k pripravi celostne strategije boja proti homofobiji in diskriminaciji na podlagi spolne usmerjenosti in spolne identitete ta še vedno ostaja večinoma neuresničena.
Komisija je sicer prejela seznam nekaterih ukrepov za osebe LGBTI decembra leta 2015, a ta ostaja pomanjkljiv in neizpolnjen na številnih področjih. Parlament zato Komisijo ponovno poziva k pripravi celostne strategije za odpravo diskriminacije LGBTI oseb v Uniji.
Resolucija med drugim tudi ugotavlja, da za dostop do pravnega priznanja spola osem držav članic zahteva sterilizacijo, 18 držav članic pa diagnozo o duševnem zdravju in odločno poziva Komisijo, naj oceni, ali so te zahteve v skladu z Listino Evropske unije o temeljnih pravicah.

EU-Singapore Free Trade Agreement (A8-0053/2019 - David Martin) SL

Parlament je tokrat odločal o sporazumu o prosti trgovini med EU in Singapurjem.
Sporazum je problematičen iz več vidikov, saj je povsem neuravnotežen, odpira vrata številnim vprašljivim ekonomskim praksam in neustrezno naslavlja vprašanj davčnega okolja.
Po podatkih številnih nevladnih organizacij je Singapur kljub boju proti izogibanju davkov prava davčna oaza, v kateri je registriranih več kot 10.000 podjetji iz EU med njimi številna slamnata.
Sporazum je problematičen tudi iz naslova razmerja med pravicami delavcev in investitorjev. Ta namreč razširja pravice in ugodnosti, do katerih so upravičeni investitorji, medtem ko na drugi strani delavci ostajajo brez ustrezne zaščite. Še več, Singapur še vedno ni ratificiral treh konvencij Mednarodne organizacije dela (ILO).
Zaradi vseh navedenih razlogov sem glasovala proti prosto-trgovinskemu sporazumu med EU in Singapurjem.
