I expect the European Parliament to stop these appaling interpretations of "solidarity" and "responsibility " as imagined by the Council. An agreement cannot be celebrated just because it is an agreement. This reinforced Dublin has nothing in it to celebrate.

Rådet måste nu förhandla vidare med EU-parlamentet, och jag hoppas verkligen att vi kan sätta stopp för de värsta delarna av detta. Det är oansvarigt att fira en uppgörelse bara för att det är en uppgörelse. En förstärkt Dublinförodning är sannerligen inget att fira 😔.
