MEPs and investigative journalists to discuss role of journalism in uncovering corruption

EP's Committee on Budgetary Control with the Committee on Civil Liberties will hold a public hearing on how investigative journalism can help uncover cases of fraud and corruption in Europe.

Panellists include Andras Petho from the investigative journalism center in Hungary “Direkt36”, the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting project, Ms Julie Majerczak of Reporters Without Borders, as well as Mr Andras Becker, a former editor of Hungarian ‘Átlátszó’.
