Vote on €35.5 million for redundant workers in France, Poland, Italy and Greece
Parliament votes Tuesday on four applications for €35.5 million in EU aid to help find or create new jobs for workers made redundant by Air France, Fiat Auto Poland, Whirlpool in Italy and a Greek retailer. The European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) aid applications need to be approved by both Parliament and the Council of Ministers.
