Human rights and democracy resolutions 

Parliament will hold urgent debates on the following human rights, democracy and rule of law topics on Thursday 13 September, at around 10.00, with the votes following at 12.00.

  • Arrests of opposition parliamentarians in Uganda
  • Myanmar, notably the case of jailed Reuters journalists Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo
  • Cambodia, notably the case of imprisoned opposition leader Kem Sokha
