Human rights and democracy resolutions 

Parliament will hold urgent debates on the following human rights, democracy and rule of law topics on Thursday morning, followed by votes later the same day.

  • The case of Ahmadreza Djalali in Iran;
  • Hong Kong, notably the case of Apple Daily;
  • The death penalty in Saudi Arabia, notably the cases of Mustafa Hashem al-Darwish and Abdullah al-Howaiti.
