EU-India relations
On Wednesday, MEPs and the Commission will debate the upcoming EU-India summit and the future of bilateral trade and investment relations.
Ahead of the leaders’ meeting in New Delhi on 27 January, the two sides are aiming to conclude negotiations on several trade-related agreements.
In 2022, the European Union relaunched negotiations with India for a free trade agreement, and launched separate negotiations for an investment protection agreement and an agreement on geographical indications.
