Traineeship at the European Parliament: apply by 30 June
Fancy discovering how the European Parliament works on a daily basis? Apply for a traineeship and gain hands-on experience of EU decision-making.
The Parliament is an important forum for political debate and decision-making at the EU level. MEPs are directly elected by voters in all EU countries to represent their interests and to make sure other EU institutions are working democratically.
To provide opportunities for vocational training and an insight into its work, Parliament has a traineeship programme allowing university graduates aged 18 and over to get a taster of a career with the EU.
- be aged 18+
- fulfil the language requirement
- have a university level diploma
- not have worked for more than two consecutive months within an EU institution or body
- not have carried out a study visit in the European Parliament’s secretariat six months prior to the start of the traineeship
To apply for a Schuman traineeship at the European Parliament,submit an application on our traineeship offers page by 30 June.
You can apply for up to three traineeships. Successful applicants will work at the Parliament from 1 October 2020 until 28 February 2021.
