LUX Audience Award 2022: the nominees unveiled

The three European films nominated for the LUX Audience Award 2022 are: Flee, Great Freedom and Quo Vadis, Aida? Watch them and vote for your favourite.
The LUX Audience Award seeks to support European cinema and inspire discussion on topical issues. Last year, the European Parliament joined forces with the European Film Academy to organise the Award and to reach a wider audience. The LUX Audience Award is now open to all Europeans, who together with MEPs have a say in who wins the award.
The films competing in the 2022 edition were announced at a ceremony in Berlin on 11 December 2021. These are: Flee by Jonas Poher Rasmussen, Great Freedom by Sebastian Meise and Quo vadis, Aida? by Jasmila Žbanić.
Inspired by true events, the selected films speak about vulnerability and division, but also about the healing power of tolerance and compassion.
