Background

On Wednesday, the European Parliament is set to debate and the next day to adopt a resolution on the development of EU cycling strategy. The draft text advocates for more dedicated cycling lanes, parking places for bikes and reduced VAT to help boost the EU cycling industry and facilitate the EU’s green transition.

The EU cycling ecosystem already represents over 1 000 small and medium-sized enterprises and 1 million jobs and can scale up to 2 million jobs by 2030.
