New EU rules to close the gender pay gap

Plenary will discuss from 9.00 and vote at 11.30 on legislation requiring EU companies to disclose information that makes it easier for employees to compare salaries. The new rules, already agreed with the Council, foresee sanctions, including fines, for companies that do not comply. A press conference with the rapporteurs will take place at 12.00.

Rule of law: Commission 2022 report, situation in Greece, Spain, Malta

MEPs will discuss the Commission’s latest report over respect of democracy and EU values by member states. A draft resolution to be put to vote in plenary at 11.30. They will also debate the situation of the Rule of Law in Greece, Spain and Malta, with resolutions to be voted on during the April plenary session.

Votes

Between 11.30 and 13.30, MEPs will also vote on:

  • new EU rules on product safety;
  • cutting emissions of F-gases and ozone depleting substances,
  • the European Year of Skills 2023 and
  • a new platform to improve joint criminal investigations.
