Background
Today, Parliament and Council negotiators reached a provisional political agreement on the amended Radio Equipment Directive, establishing a single charging solution for certain electronic devices, like mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras. This marks an important step towards reducing electronic waste in the EU and making consumers’ lives easier.
