European Parliament Press Kit for the European Council of 25-26 February 2021

European Parliament President, David Sassoli, will represent the European Parliament at the summit and:
- address the heads of state or government at 15:00
- hold a press conference at around 15:30. More information here.
On 25 and 26 February, EU leaders will meet via video conference to discuss the current situation of the COVID-19 pandemic and the EU’s response, focusing in particular on the authorisation, production and distribution of vaccines and the movement of persons. They will also address security and defence policy and EU relations with the Southern Neighbourhood.
