The European Parliament’s spokesperson will hold a last-minute briefing on the 13-16 September plenary session today at 16.30.

When: Monday 13 September - 16.30

Where: Daphne Caruana Galizia Press room and via Interactio

Key moments of the session include:


  • State of the European Union address and debate
  • Humanitarian and security situation in Afghanistan
  • Media Freedom and Rule of Law in Poland
  • European Health Union
  • EU Blue Card for highly-skilled migrants
  • LGBTIQ rights in Europe

Parliament’s spokesperson will also provide information on the Conference on the Future of Europe and on how to follow the first of four European Citizen’s panels. 200 citizens will start their deliberations from 17-19 September in Strasbourg.
