MEPs to debate “State of the SMEs Union” with Commission
Parliament will discuss the situation of SMEs, mostly active in sectors hit hardest by the economic crisis, and the strategy to support them to recover.
MEPs are likely to reiterate their call from December 2020 and advocate measures to help small and medium-sized enterprises deal with the crisis and the twin challenges of digitalisation and decarbonisation. The debate will also focus on the implementation of the better regulation agenda, which aims to reduce the administrative burden on businesses.
