      1. Committee on Development delegation to Mauritania 
        • Mauritania is a solid and priority partner for the European Union in the region of West Africa and the Sahel. The EU’s Global Gateway Strategy and the response to drivers of fragility combining humanitarian-development-peacebuilding will be the focus of a DEVE mission to the country.

           The mission will be composed of the following Members:

      2. Committee on Budgets delegation to Montenegro 
        • A delegation of 10 MEPs, lead by Committee Chair Johan VAN OVERTVELDT, will visit Montenegro from 26 to 28 May, in the context of the country’s progress towards EU accession. The MEPs’ focus will be on the implementation of EU pre-accession support, the recently established Reform and Growth Facility for the Western Balkans, and Montenegro’s overall progress towards EU membership. The delegation will also explore the potential budgetary implications of Montenegro’s future accession for the EU’s post-2027 long-term budget.
      3. Committee on Budgetary Control delegation to Slovakia 
        • A delegation from the Committee on Budgetary Control will visit Slovakia from 26 to 28 May to assess the use of EU funds and measures in place to protect the Union's financial interests. Lead by Tomáš ZDECHOVSKÝ (EPP, CZ), the delegation of four MEPs will meet with national authorities, members of the Slovak Parliament, journalists, NGOs, representatives of Roma communities and high-level officials.       6. Employment and Social Affairs committee delegation to Ruhr area, Germany 
        • An Employment and Social Affairs Committee delegation is travelling to Germany’s Ruhr area from 26 to 28 May to discuss the region's just transition, to visit chemical and steel plants and educational facilities, and to meet with business leaders, trade union representatives and the state government. The delegation is composed of five MEPs and will be led by Dennis RADTKE (EPP, DE).
      7. Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety delegation to Copenhagen, Denmark 
        • A three-member delegation of the Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety will visit the European Environment Agency (EEA) in Copenhagen (Denmark) on 26-27 May 2025. The aim of this delegation is to learn about the current and planned activities of the Agency, in particular its support to the environment and climate action under European policies and the Green Deal, the implementation of the 8th Environment Action Plan and the EU’s global commitments, as well as the staff and budget situation.
      8. Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety delegation to Parma, Italy 
        • Two members from the Committee on the Environment, Climate and Food Safety will travel to Parma (Italy) on 26-27 May 2025 to meet with European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) representatives. The delegation will exchange on the agency's main priorities and challenges, including scientific cooperation and partnerships, research funding, as well as specific work topics such as novel foods, climate change and food safety, pesticides, new genomic techniques and antimicrobial resistance.
      9. Committee on Public Health ad-hoc mission to the World Health Assembly to Geneva, Switzerland 
        • Seven members of the Committee on Public Health will travel to Geneva, Switzerland, from 26 to 28 May 2025, to attend proceedings of the 78th World Health Assembly. They will also meet representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) to discuss health subjects relevant to the committee work programme, such as mental health, cardiovascular health, non-communicable diseases, rare diseases, health emergencies preparedness and response.
      10. Committee on Industry, Research and Energy delegation to Slovakia 
        • The delegation from the Industry, Research and Energy committee (ITRE) to Slovakia focuses on exploring geothermal energy, a renewable and sustainable energy source that the committee has strongly supported in Europe. Following the European Parliament's resolution on geothermal energy last year, the European Commission was prompted to develop the European Strategy for Heating and Cooling and an Action Plan on Heat Pumps. Slovakia, with its significant geothermal resources, was chosen for this visit. During their trip, ITRE members will tour geothermal sites in Eastern Slovakia, engage with researchers at the Technical University in Košice, and meet with technology and cleantech companies like GA Drilling and SEAK Energetics. Additionally, they will discuss geothermal energy potential and broader energy policies with members of the National Council and government representatives.
      11. Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection delegation to Buenos Aires, Argentina 
        • Members of Parliament’s Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection will travel to Buenos Aires from 26–30 May to discuss digital issues, e-commerce and simplification. The delegation will meet with Argentinian government officials, industry association representatives and digital leaders. They also have meetings scheduled with a consumer organisation and with customs and port authorities. The MEPs’ main aim is to strengthen EU cooperation with Argentina on digital and e-commerce matters. They also want to learn about how the country plans to reduce its regulatory burden and how it ensures consumer protection, organises the work of customs authorities and aligns product standards with EU norms. The group of seven MEPs is led by Andreas SCHWAB (EPP, DE).         • A three-member delegation from the Committee on Regional Development will travel to the Jämtland Härjedalen region in Sweden on 26 –28 May to explore regional innovation, sustainability initiatives, and cross-border cooperation in sparsely populated areas. During the three-day visit they will also meet stakeholders from tourism and small businesses.

        • From 26 to 28 May, five members of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development will visit Finland to learn about forest management and animals in transport in the country. They will meet with Mrs Sari Essayah, Minister of Agriculture of Finland, representatives of forest organizations, researchers and farmers
      15. Committee on Fisheries delegation to Denmark 
        • From 26 to 28 May, six MEPs from the Committee on Fisheries are travelling to Denmark to find out more about the challenges facing the country’s fishers. In Skagen, MEPs will meet representatives of the Danish Fisheries Organisation and the Danish Pelagic Producers Organisation. Denmark’s pelagic fisheries are affected by limited access to UK fishing grounds and tense fisheries relations with Norway. In Hirtshals, MEPs will meet with Danish Fisheries Minister Jacob Jensen, and European Commissioner for Fisheries and Oceans Costas Kadis. In Copenhagen, MEPs will visit the European Environment Agency (EEA), which collects and validates environment and climate data to produce policy analysis, and the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES), which provides the EU with scientific advice on fish stock management and conservation.         • From 26 to 28 May, a delegation of 10 MEPs, led by chair Bogdan Rzońca, will travel to the coast of south-western Andalusia to assess the working conditions of state security forces operating in the area. During the three-day visit, the will engage with concerned petitioners, members of the security forces, as well as institutional and operational representatives involved in combating organised crime and drug trafficking across the region.

        • MEPs from the Special Committee on the European Democracy Shield (EUDS) will be in Chișinău, Moldova, from 26 to 28 May.         • A delegation of eight Members of the Committee on International Trade (INTA) will travel to Washington, D.C. from 27 to 29 May 2025 to discuss political, trade and investment relations between the US and the EU.       7. Employment and Social Affairs Committee delegation to Copenhagen (Denmark) 
        • An Employment and Social Affairs Committee delegation is travelling to Copenhagen from 26 to 28 May for meetings with Danish Employment and Social Ministers, the national parliament, and trade unions. The delegation is composed of six MEPs and will be led by Li ANDERSSON (The Left, FI).
      8. Employment and Social Affairs committee delegation to Ruhr area, Germany 
        • An Employment and Social Affairs Committee delegation is travelling to Germany’s Ruhr area from 26 to 28 May to discuss the region's just transition, to visit chemical and steel plants and educational facilities, and to meet with business leaders, trade union representatives and the state government. The delegation is composed of five MEPs and will be led by Dennis RADTKE (EPP, DE).
      9. Committee on Public Health ad-hoc mission to the World Health Assembly to Geneva, Switzerland 
        • Seven members of the Committee on Public Health will travel to Geneva, Switzerland, from 26 to 28 May 2025, to attend proceedings of the 78th World Health Assembly. They will also meet representatives of the World Health Organization (WHO) to discuss health subjects relevant to the committee work programme, such as mental health, cardiovascular health, non-communicable diseases, rare diseases, health emergencies preparedness and response.
      10. Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection delegation to Buenos Aires, Argentina 
        • Members of Parliament’s Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection will travel to Buenos Aires from 26–30 May to discuss digital issues, e-commerce and simplification. The delegation will meet with Argentinian government officials, industry association representatives and digital leaders. They also have meetings scheduled with a consumer organisation and with customs and port authorities. The MEPs’ main aim is to strengthen EU cooperation with Argentina on digital and e-commerce matters. They also want to learn about how the country plans to reduce its regulatory burden and how it ensures consumer protection, organises the work of customs authorities and aligns product standards with EU norms. The group of seven MEPs is led by Andreas SCHWAB (EPP, DE). Other members of the delegation are Henrik DAHL (EPP, DK), Dóra DÁVID (EPP, HU), Alex AGIUS SALIBA (S&D, MT), Katarina BARLEY (S&D, DE), Elisabeth DIERINGER (PfE, AT) and Arno BAUSEMER (ESN, DE).
      11. Committee on Transport and Tourism delegation to Malta 
        • A delegation of EP‘s Committee on Transport and Tourism, led by Virginijus SINKEVIČIUS (Greens/EFA, LT), is visiting Malta on 26-28 May, to explore connectivity and sustainable tourism strategies.
      12. Committee on Regional Development delegation to Sweden 
        • A three-member delegation from the Committee on Regional Development will travel to the Jämtland Härjedalen region in Sweden on 26 –28 May to explore regional innovation, sustainability initiatives, and cross-border cooperation in sparsely populated areas. During the three-day visit they will also meet stakeholders from tourism and small businesses.
      13. Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development delegation to Finland 
        • From 26 to 28 May, five members of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development will visit Finland to learn about forest management and animals in transport in the country. They will meet with Mrs Sari Essayah, Minister of Agriculture of Finland, representatives of forest organizations, researchers and farmers
      14. Committee on Culture and Education delegation to Los Angeles, United States 
        • From 26 to 29 May, a delegation of eight MEPs from the Committee on Culture and Education will travel to Los Angeles where they will see first-hand the impact of transformative technologies on the cultural and creative sectors. They will hear views from multiple sides of the industry (filmmaking, music and television) on the remuneration of creators and working conditions. Press release.
      15. Committee on Petitions delegation to Barbate and Algeciras (Spain) 
        • From 26 to 28 May, a delegation of 10 MEPs, led by chair Bogdan Rzońca, will travel to the coast of south-western Andalusia to assess the working conditions of state security forces operating in the area. During the three-day visit, the will engage with concerned petitioners, members of the security forces, as well as institutional and operational representatives involved in combating organised crime and drug trafficking across the region.
      16. Special Committee on the European Democracy Shield delegation to Chișinău, Moldova 
        • MEPs from the Special Committee on the European Democracy Shield (EUDS) will be in Chișinău, Moldova, from 26 to 28 May. The visit will focus on the country's experience and capacities in countering foreign information manipulation, hybrid threats, and cyberattacks, while strengthening democratic resilience and securing critical infrastructure. The delegation will meet with high-ranking members of Moldova’s government and parliament, civil society, media, and academic community.
      17. Special committee on the Housing Crisis in the EU delegation to Barcelona, Spain 
        • MEPs from the Special Committee on the Housing Crisis in the EU are going to Barcelona from 26 to 28 May to gather information on how the city is addressing the housing challenges caused by the increase in short-term rentals. MEPs will meet with local, regional and national governments, economic and social actors and education and research institutions. The delegation is composed of eleven MEPs and will be led by Irene TINAGLI (S&D, IT).
