Public hearing: implementation of the EU-UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement

Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee will hold on Wednesday a hearing on the application of the EU-UK agreement and the challenges for the Single Market and the Customs Union.

When: Wednesday, 26 May, 9.30-11.00 CEST

Where: European Parliament, Antall building, room 4Q1, Brussels and with remote participation


The debate will be webstreamed and available as a VOD here (Parliament’s Multimedia Centre).

The hearing will concentrate on how the implementation of the agreement influences the EU’s internal market, in particular customs, standardisation, health and safety, services and recognition of professional qualifications. The MEPs also want to discuss the new instruments created under the Trade and Cooperation Agreement, in particular the countervailing measures.
