Press conference by EP President Metsola at the European Council at 16.00 today
Following her address to heads of state or government at the European Council, EP President Roberta Metsola will hold a press conference today at around 16.00.

At 15.00 today, President Metsola will address heads of state or government. She will convey the position of the European Parliament on the topics to be discussed by leaders during their meeting. In particular, she will call for bolder steps and stronger decisions to respond to high inflation and soaring energy prices. President Metsola is also set to stress the need for unity and continued support for Ukraine at all levels, including military assistance.
The press conference will start at around 16.00. Interpretation will be available in English, French and German.
