Past conciliations

Since the introduction of the codecision procedure by the Maastricht Treaty in 1993, there have been Vice-Presidents responsible for conciliation. The Vice-Presidents' mandate can be renewed. Some have served for two and a half years while others have had responsibility for conciliation for up to 10 years.

The latest conciliation procedures occurred during the VIIth legislature (2009-2014).
