PETI 2022 - Annual report
The Committee on Petitions has adopted its annual report for 2022. It takes stock of the committee's activities, starting with the handling of the 1217 petitions submitted by EU citizens and residents. The top petition themes this year include the environment, fundamental rights, justice and external relations.
It also presents the work carried out by the committee in relation to the concerns raised by petitioners, such as the organization of fact-finding visits and public hearings and the drafting of reports, motions for resolutions and opinions.
