The petitioner is concerned about the ethics of Google’s artificial intelligence algorithms, specifically allegedly racist algorithms such as those of GPT-3 (Generative Pre-trained Transformer 3), algorithms and allegedly questionable medical recommendations, algorithms and disinformation, algorithms and radicalisation, and external hearings on the algorithms of GAFAM (Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon et Microsoft). The petitioner asks the European Parliament to look into the dismantling of Google’s ethics team. In his view, questionable medical recommendations and disinformation on vaccines and cancers, allegedly spread by the aforementioned tools could have caused hundreds of thousands of deaths.
