Parlamendi küsimused

Parlamendi küsimused on Euroopa Parlamendi liikmete poolt teistele ELi institutsioonidele ja asutustele esitatud küsimused. Need annavad parlamendile vahetu võimaluse teostada teiste ELi institutsioonide ja asutuste üle parlamentaarset kontrolli.
Parlamendi küsimusi on kolme liiki:

  • suuliselt vastatavad küsimused, mida käsitletakse parlamendi istungitel ja mis on kantud päevakorda; arutelu lõpul võidakse vastu võtta resolutsioon (kodukorra artikkel 142)
  • infotunni küsimused, mis esitatakse täiskogu istungjärgul selleks ette nähtud ajal (kodukorra artikkel 143)
  • kirjalikult vastatavad küsimused, mille esitamisel palutakse kirjalikku vastust (kodukorra artikkel 144)
