Interparliamentary Committee Meeting on “Cooperation with Petitions committees in national parliaments, exchanging best practices and reflecting on new approaches ", 20 September 2023 - PETI

The debate allowed to discuss common experiences, share best practices, foster mutual learning, and raise awareness of the common challenges related to the right of the citizen to petition the national and European Parliaments.

Empowering parliaments in the implementation of union law, 27 November 2018 (JURI, PETI)

The European Parliament Legal Affairs Committee (JURI) and Petition Committee (PETI) co-organised with the Legislative Dialogue Unit of the Directorate for National Parliaments an ICM on the Empowering Parliaments and enforcing citizen's rights in the implementation and application of Union law.

The right to petition, 23 June 2015 (PETI)

The European Parliament's Committee on Petitions (PETI) invited national Parliaments to the hearing on the Right to petition. The aim of this hearing was to discuss the existing procedure according to which petitions are treated in the European Parliament.
