The first debate on " Health, human rights and public trust", moderated by Emma Nelson, will be held on Friday 27 November at 12am CET with Member of the European Parliament Peter Liese, and Professors at UCL James Wilson and Deenan Pillay.The debate is part of a regular cooperation with the UCL European Institute (@UCL_EI) who will jointly host this meeting.
A second online discussion focusing on the laureates (the democratic opposition in Belarus): "Belarus: Human Rights and Culture" will be held on 18th December at 9:00-10:00am GMT. The debate will include MEP Maria Arena, Natalia Kaliada (Founding Artistic Director of Belarus Free Theatre in London), Michael Attenborough (Theatre director) and Daniel Gorman as moderator. The discussion will focus on the role of writers, artists and performers in the ongoing struggle for free speech and other fundamental human rights in Belarus.
