  Thijs Berman (S&D). – (FR) Madam President, I would like to take advantage of this meeting to call on you to condemn in no uncertain terms the coup d’état in Mali and to demand that constitutional order be re-established in that country. I should also like to take this opportunity to welcome the democratic elections which have taken place in Senegal and the election of the new President, Mr Macky Sall.
