Claude Moraes (S&D), in writing. − I voted to cap bankers bonuses because the UK Government has failed to act on the high-risk and no-reward culture that bonuses have created. It is not fair that my constituents in London suffer cuts to their public services at hospitals and local libraries, and cuts to unemployment and disability benefit, caused by the crisis that irresponsible banking created, whilst bankers and traders of publicly-owned banks still enjoy excessive bonuses.
