  Marta Andreasen (ECR), in writing. − I voted against the Takkula report on the establishing of the programme ‘Europe for the Citizens’ for the period 2014-2020 as it is unnecessary and it does not provide value for taxpayers’ money and because we do not support the principal objectives of ‘contributing to citizens’ understanding of the Union, its history and diversity’ and ‘fostering European citizenship’ while ‘improving conditions for civic and democratic participation at Union level’.
