Council recommendations on the Economic Policy of the Euro Area
This note looks at the 2023 recommendation on the economic policies of the euro area proposed by the Commission and agreed by the Council. The note provides a review of the euro area recommendations from an institutional perspective and includes broad comparisons to earlier recommendations, in order to illustrate how policy concerns have evolved over time. This note is an update on a previous version and will be updated in light of relevant developments.
Two years until the 2019 European elections: Socio‐demographic focus
This Special Eurobarometer survey, conducted for the European Parliament at the mid-point of the 2014-2019 parliamentary term, focuses on Europeans’ attitudes two years before the European elections of May/June 2019. The fieldwork for this Eurobarometer survey of the European Parliament was carried out between 18 and 27 March 2017. The survey was conducted by Kantar Public through face-to-face meetings with 27 901 EU citizens in the 28 Member States.

Major changes in European public opinion regarding the EU
This exploratory study on major changes in European public opinion (updated in November 2016) was carried out on the basis of the Eurobaroeter surveys carried out between 1973 and 2016. The following aspects were studied: changes in European public opinion regarding the European Union and its institutions; democracy in the European Union; the economy of the European Union; the lives of Europeans; immigration.

Europeans in 2016: Socio-demographic focus on their expectations
The Special Eurobarometer of the European Parliament EP EB85.1 was conducted in the 28 Member States of the European Union, from 9 to 18 April 2016, by TNS opinion. This socio-demographic focus study aims to present a national socio-demographic breakdown for some of the key findings of the survey: the fact that what brings the citizens of the different EU Member States together is more important than what separates them, and the expectations Europeans have regarding the EU’s action.
