Bei der Juni-I-Plenartagung soll das Europäische Parlament eine neue Verordnung des Europäischen Parlaments über die Ausübung der Aufgaben des Bürgerbeauftragten (Statut des Europäischen Bürgerbeauftragten) annehmen, die das 2008 verabschiedete Statut ersetzen soll. Dies geschieht im Anschluss an eine Aussprache über den neuen Text während der Juni-I-Tagung und die anschließende Zustimmung zu dem Entwurf des Rates.

Das Europäische Parlament soll während der Juni-I-Plenartagung 2021 in zweiter Lesung über die vorläufige Einigung diskutieren und abstimmen, die in den interinstitutionellen Verhandlungen über den Vorschlag für eine Verordnung des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates zur Schaffung des Instruments für finanzielle Hilfe für Zollkontrollausrüstung im Rahmen des Fonds für integriertes Grenzmanagement erzielt wurde.
