Diese Studie befasst sich mit dem Wesen und Umfang der Problematik des Schulabbruchs in der EU. Es wird im Einzelnen untersucht, welche Lösungsansätze die Länder nutzen und wodurch sich wirksame Strategien auszeichnen. Ausgehend davon werden Zukunftsempfehlungen für Akteure auf europäischer und nationaler Ebene gegeben. Die Studie beruht auf detaillierten Erhebungen in neun Mitgliedstaaten sowie einer Auswertung der internationalen und nationalen Literatur.
