European Labour Authority and Social Security Coordination

This briefing discusses the Commission proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on establishing a European Labour Authority with a focus on social security coordination, posted workers and planned changes in the governance framework. It has been prepared by the Policy Department for Economic and Scientific Policies at the request of the Employment and Social Affairs Committee.Together with other briefings it contributes to a Committee workshop dedicated to the European Labour Authority (24 May 2018).
